Personal statement
Director Mike McLaughlin says:
"Sleepless is a semi biographical story that has elements of what it is like to be a young adult growing up in the Great White North. I like stories with characters that are a little unpredictable and I think the relationship that Andy and Meg share offers a unique perspective on insomnia, which is something that most people deal with at some point in their lives."
