Sean Garrity’s feature Zooey & Adam opens in Winnipeg Jan. 29

Zooey & Adam, a new feature from NSI Features First grad Sean Garrity, is a psychological drama that will have audiences taking sides. The film opens at the Winnipeg Film Group's Cinematheque January 29.

Zooey and Adam have been unsuccessfully trying to get pregnant for seven months, only to end up pregnant after a violent attack. Unsure of the parentage of their child, they decide to have him anyway.

Zooey & Adam screened at the Vancouver International Film Festival, San Francisco Independent Film Festival, Calgary International Film Festival, Kingston International Film Festival, Atlantic Film Festival and Edmonton International Film Festival.
