NSI Drama Prize team Kyle Rideout and Josh Epstein recently began filming their short Wait For Rain. Josh found a few minutes to send us some stills and give a quick update on shooting.

Josh writes: "Being our first day on this huge shoot we kept thinking something might go wrong. What had we missed? Well, the day flowed; our production manager Irene Karas handled things smoothly. Our director of photography Shaun Lawless assisted Kyle to make shot after shot look beautiful. Our production designer Karen Mirlfield continued touch ups on her amazing 'all recycled material' set and Julia Bettencourt - our positive and organized first assistant director - kept the ship humming along.
We soon realized by hiring the perfect team everything was ready for us to make the picture we imagined. Now, who can book us a day of sun?"
Wondering about the plants in the images below? According to the film's synopsis: A warming planet has made water scarce, food a rarity, and wearing
plants like jewelry fashionable. James, a hapless office worker,
becomes obsessed with nurturing his plant in order to obtain the respect
of his peers and risks everything to not Wait for Rain.
