In Between are screening at the first
WIFT-T Short Film Showcase in Toronto March 9.
The Princess of Selkirk Avenue
tells the story of a familial fallout of a Jewish girl’s engagement to a Gentile boy in early 1960’s Winnipeg. It stars Jonas Chernick and Renessa Blitz.
In Between:
Leila convinces her brother to let her run the family convenience story by herself. Apprehensively he agrees, but demands she call him if anything unusual happens - which tonight means she should be calling a lot.
The WIFT-T inaugural Short Film Showcase honours the work of their members. The Showcase will be followed by a networking reception.
