NSI alumni and NSI-developed series are finalists for WGC Screenwriting Awards

The National Screen Institute congratulates its impressive number of alumni named as finalists for the Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Awards to be handed out April 19 in Toronto.

Episodic half-hour

"Happy Birthday Sheldon." Written by Marvin Kaye & Chris Sheasgreen (graduates of NSI Totally Television); "The Daters." Written by Garry Campbell; "Fun." Written by Jenn Engels; and "Careers Day." Written by Mark McKinney.

The winners will be announced at the 2010 WGC Screenwriting Awards on Monday, April 19, 2010, at Maro in Liberty Village, Toronto.
