Filmmaker Alexander Carson says:
"Last Communication with Laura was shot over the course of two weekends in October, 2008, without a script, a crew, or any real ideas. We just started.
The voice-over and the music were written and recorded during the Christmas holidays without having looked at the footage.
For me, this film is defined by its caprice. It’s a sort of emotional memory film, without any regard for realism. And I love letter-writing. I guess I tried to capture that lyrical, literary feeling with cinema."
