Director Gavin Heffernan says:
"A short film shot in the shadows of the upcoming 2008 US Presidential Election. Initially conceived as a visual study of "action vs inaction", the film shifted with the the two day Los Angeles shoot into a piece about the cyclical nature of mankind's violent, sometimes beautiful evolution."

An alumnus of McGill University and the AFI Conservatory, Canadian-born writer/director Gavin Heffernan first hit the independent scene with his microbudget feature film Expiration.
Catching the attention of Variety, Film Festival Today and Ain't it Cool News, the $10,000 Montreal feature would take grand rrize at the 2004 Canadian Filmmakers Festival.
After graduating from AFI in 2007, Heffernan co-founded The Film Summit - an industry event focused on preserving cinematic relations between Canada and Hollywood, featuring works from the American Film Institute and the Canadian Film Centre.
