UPDATE: We've just confirmed that film marketing maven Sheri Candler will be joining us in Winnipeg for this brilliant panel discussion.
Last week, the National Screen Institute announced a Winnipeg event featuring Jon Reiss (named one of "10 Digital Directors to Watch" by Daily Variety) and David Geertz (described by Ted Hope as one of the brave new thinkers of truly free film) on March 10 who will talk about film marketing, distribution and financing in the digital age.

This is an important event for Winnipeg content creators. Made even more exciting by the fact that Sheri will be moderating.
Both Jon and David have important ideas for the future of film financing and marketing. Sheri is a leader in her field with tons of knowledge that filmmakers need to hear.
This is a must-attend event. RSVP on Facebook (or call us 204-956-7800). $20 admission. The event will take place at Urban Shaman: Contemporary Aboriginal Art.
The National Screen Institute is offering a special price for students, On Screen Manitoba members, Winnipeg Film Group members and New Media Manitoba members: $10, valid student ID or membership card must be presented to receive discount.
