NSI Features First alumnus Adam Smoluk is in the running for the
Future Leaders of Manitoba Award for the arts. It recognizes and honours a young Manitoban who is active in the arts community.
Writer/director Smoluk shot his film
Foodland, developed through NSI Features First, in January 2009. It is set to premiere this year.
The award was established by The Future Leaders of Manitoba Council in partnership with the Business Council of Manitoba, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce and the Manitoba Chambers of Commerce. The awards will be presented on January 28 at the 2010 Annual Awards Reception: Celebrating Exceptional Manitobans.
