Venus / Link to Reelout

Venus, developed through NSI Features First by writer/director Eisha Marjara and producer Joe Balass, is the closing gala film at the Reelout Queer Film Festival in Kingston this weekend.

Genders, generations and cultures collide in this comedy about the modern family unit, which follows a transitioning woman who discovers she’s the father of a 14-year-old boy.

Reelout Queer Film Festival exists to celebrate queer media arts and contribute to community vitality by programming materials focused on issues of sexuality, race, culture, religion, class, gender, ability, health and age.

Venus screens at 4 p.m. on Saturday, February 10 – tomorrow! – at The Screening Room. Buy tickets.
