NSI alumni selected for OMDC’s International Financing Forum at TIFF

Congratulations to producers Corey Marr (NSI Totally Television), Joe Balass (NSI Features First), Jordan Walker (NSI Totally Television), Borga Dorter (NSI Totally Television) and Marc Almon (NSI Drama Prize) who were selected for Ontario Media Development Corporation’s International (OMDC) Financing Forum (iff) at TIFF, September 10 and 11.

Corey will attend the forum with his film Death of a Ladies Man, Joe with Calorie – to be directed by Eisha Marjara (NSI Features First) – Jordan with A College Girl’s Guide to Pornography, Borga with All the Rage and Marc with Sharp Corner.

Participants will meet one-on-one with industry execs from companies including Netflix, Amazon Studios, Fox Searchlight and Bleecker Street Films.

Twenty Canadian and 19 international producing teams were selected for the forum.

Now in its 12th year, over 75 projects launched at the forum have been successfully financed and produced.
