Filmmaker’s statement

I still love this little film. Tika Simone and I were looking for a project to do together and when Chris Cromie reminded me that he had previously sent me this script we both gave it a read and fell in love with it instantly. It was so much fun shooting this one. Lyric was five years old at the time and was such a natural. He stole the show!
