An aging couple hire a young actor to temporarily take the place of their deceased daughter.
Director: Aidan Shipley
Writer: Grayson Moore
Producer: Nicole Bond
Bridges was my third year film at Ryerson University.
Being my first real attempt at directing, I relied heavily on my producer Nicole Bond and writer Grayson Moore to guide me through this crazy experience.
We shot it at my family home in Stratford, Ontario, which came in handy when casting – I was able to use some of the amazing actors that I had the pleasure of working with when I was a young actor at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
I consider myself extremely lucky to have had such amazing and experienced actors agree to work on this film and it simply wouldn’t have happened without them.
