Filmmaker’s statement

I think this film is about the fact I would live a lie if it meant I could protect the things that are important to me. Or maybe it’s about being scared that the people you love won’t love you for who you are. It could also be about the confusing time in my life when this film was made, where I was about to step out into a world I didn’t know my place in.

I do know for sure that I made this film with very talented people whom I respect and care for very much; first and foremost among them my production designer. I asked her to marry me shortly after completing this film.
