NSI announces new partnership with Netflix in support of online content

The National Screen Institute – Canada (NSI) is proud to announce a new two-year partnership with Netflix for support of NSI’s online content, including sponsorship of NSI Online Short Film Festival.

“Netflix is a groundbreaking media company and we’re very pleased to partner with them to provide relevant and accessible programming and information on our website,” said John Gill, NSI’s CEO. “We are grateful for their ongoing support.”

nsi-canada.ca is the go-to resource for Canadian screen professionals. It continues to grow as a popular source of information, advice and celebration of the film, television and digital media industries in Canada. New content is added to the website daily.

The NSI Online Short Film Festival is NSI’s year-round short film festival and offers $4,000 in cash prizes four times per year. New films are added to the website every week. The NSI Online Short Film Festival is an excellent platform for Canadian short filmmakers to promote their work because it’s free to submit a film and free to watch.
