“Red Light, written by Ryan La Via from Thunder Bay, was one of 50 short film scripts to win a screenwriting competition hosted by the London Screenwriters’ Festival – a British screenwriting festival widely known as the world’s biggest professional screenwriting event.
There were a total of 1,870 international short film scripts submitted and Red Light was the only Canadian script to make the cut. Through the competition Red Light was produced by the production company Good Shout and is directed by filmmaker Michael Gilhooly.”
