Justina Neepin (NSI New Voices) is the winner of the inaugural RBC Emerging Filmmaker Award, given out last week as part of the Gimli Film Festival.
Justina was one of five emerging filmmakers, including NSI New Voices alumni Alison Campeau and Joey Ironstand, who pitched their project to a jury of industry experts.
The jury awarded Justina $10,000 to put toward her short film MARK, about a mysterious encounter between a young, optimistic man and a beautiful woman at a bus stop.
