If you’ve got a script that’s ready for production – the Telefilm Micro-Budget Production Program may be what you’re looking for.
Check out their announcement and the guidelines/FAQs/everything you ever wanted to know.
The program is open to students and alumni from selected schools and film cooperatives.
So, if you happen to be an NSI student or grad from 2009 to now, you’re eligible.
But there’s one catch: as a part of your application to the program, you have to get a letter of recommendation from your alma mater, and each school/coop can only write one letter.
NSI invites every qualified student/grad seeking a letter from NSI to forward their complete application for Telefilm (as described on page 3 of the guidelines) for our review by Monday, October 29, 2012, 4:30 p.m. Central time. Only complete applications will be accepted.
Please hand deliver/mail/courier (no emails) to:
Elise Swerhone
National Screen Institute – Canada
400-141 Bannatyne Avenue
Winnipeg, MB R3B 0R3
One application will be selected to receive a letter of recommendation from NSI on or before Thursday, December 13, 2012.
If you have any questions about the Telefilm Micro-Budget Production Program, please contact your regional Telefilm officer.
