Cameras began rolling this week in Saskatoon on the feature film Ferocious directed by Robert Cuffley (NSI Drama Prize, NSI Features First) and produced by Carolyn McMaster (NSI Features First) and Anand Ramayya (NSI Totally Television).
Ferocious is a thriller about a popular television actress who tries to secretly retrieve a sexually incriminating videotape from a seedy nightclub. The film stars multiple award winners Amanda Crew (Sex Drive, Charlie St. Cloud) as the charming and determined actress Leigh and Kim Coates (Resident Evil: Afterlife,Sons of Anarchy) as the intimidating and ruthless Sal.
In addition, the feature stars Michael Eklund (The Divide, Watchmen) as the sullen, heartbroken bar manager Eric and Katie Boland (Day Dream Nation, Adoration) as Tess a plucky, celebrity obsessed wannabe actress.
